Uviejitobor Bags Udu Non-indigenes Award Of Excellence

Udu chapter of Non-indigenes in People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Saturday, 7th September, 2024 presented Award of Excellence to Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor (JP), Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State.

The State Adviser of the group, Barr. Okpetu, while presenting the Award of Excellence, congratulated Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor on his appointment as Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas and his successful swearing in.

The group disclosed that they singled out the Honourable Commissioner to be honoured for what he stands for in humanity, disclosing that Hon. Uviejitobor is an exceptional man.

“We are here to first of all thank you for what you have been doing for Non-indigenes in Udu and the same time congratulate you for your appointment and successful swearing in as Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State.

“We deem it fit to single you out for this Excellence Award for what you stand for. You an exceptional man. You always stand for us, we the Non-indigenes in all things and we come here today to honour you with this Award”, they added.

On his part, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor thanked the group for finding him worthy for the prestigious award. He further expressed happiness for the honour done him as he commended the group for its commitment to PDP in Udu.

The Honourable Commissioner acknowledged the efforts of the Non-indigenes contributions in every elections, stating that the Non-indigenes have been consistent PDP members in Udu.
